Storing frozen goods in a walk-in freezer like the NorLake KLF810-C 8' x 10' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker is ideal for businesses that work with frozen goods in bulk. The well-insulated interior of this walk-in unit features 404 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

The panels of this commercial walk-in freezer are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation sandwiched between 26 gauge steel featuring corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating providing an R-value of 32. The panels that make up the Kold Locker have male and female rails that mate together and foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners secure them tightly. The exterior perimeter is wrapped with a continuous panel gasket without cuts or breaks. Instead of using overlapping or mechanical fasteners, the ceiling and floor panels’ edge caps are foamed-in-place which will keep them secure for the life of the walk-in. 

The stock door that comes with this walk-in unit is 26” wide and features a stepped profile design to provide a barrier to airflow. The door is mounted on two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on the left or right of the unit. The hinges are field-adjustable to adjust how the door hangs for smooth opening and closing and can be locked in with a set screw. A spring-actuated door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. The 4-foot wide door panel comes with the door pre-hung and includes a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch connected to an external indicator light, replaceable heating wire, stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. To keep items inside secure, an NL 9800 deadbolt handle is included with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent lock-ins there is a safety release inside.

Everything inside the freezer is kept at -10°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPF150JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 6120 BTU/hr of cooling. Temperature control is achieved with the Enviro-Control™ system, it makes sure the temperature inside is maintained efficiently. This unit is also used for setting the defrost timer or starting a manual defrost cycle. To remove the need for a floor drain, this unit comes with an automatic condensate vaporizer.
