The KLF812-C 8' x 12' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is a reliable walk-in freezer that is quick and easy to deploy and will last for many years. Inside this commercial walk-in freezer is 490 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

Both the interior and exterior of panels feature 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. The 4” thick panels are filled in with foamed-in-place insulation and have an R-value of 32. The Kold Locker is easy to assemble, yet extremely secure and durable. Each panel has male and female rails that fit together tightly and held in place with easy to use foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners. To make sure everything’s airtight, a continuous panel gasket that wraps around the exterior perimeter. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are not overlapped or mechanically fastened, instead, they are foamed-in-place so they don’t come loose.

The standard door on this unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile that provides a barrier against airflow. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. Each door comes pre-hung in a panel that is 4’ wide and features a perimeter heating wire that is replaceable. Each door panel also comes with a vapor proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch that has an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Products inside are secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle that has an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers don’t get locked inside each walk-in comes with a safety release. 

The ceiling-mounted RCPF150JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System produces 6120 BTU/hr of cooling to keep everything inside at -10°F. Setting the temperature inside the unit is easy with the Enviro-Control™ system. This also allows you to set the defrost timer and activate a manual defrost cycle. For ease of installation, an automatic condensate vaporizer is included to remove the need for drain lines and a floor drain.
