ICE-O-Matic MFI1256R Description
This Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker can produce up to 1,054 lbs of flake ice in a 24-hour period. For cooling, this ice maker needs to be installed with an RGA1061-HM Remote Condenser unit. To make 100 lbs of ice this flake ice maker requires 2.7 kWh of power and 12 gallons of water. The power configuration for this model is 208-230v/60/1-ph at 15.3 amps.
To prevent this unit from being damaged in the event there is no water flowing into it, a water sensor is included. When the water sensor detects insufficient water flow it will automatically shut down the ice maker. Another safety mechanism is the SystemSafe load monitoring system which keeps tabs on the amount of load being applied to the gearbox. If the SystemSafe system detects too much load is being applied the ice maker will automatically power down.
To make sure this flake ice machine unit will provide years of dependable service industrial-grade roller bearings are used for the auger and power is delivered through a heavy-duty gearbox.
