ICE-O-Matic MFI0500A Description
This Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker is an air cooled ice machine unit designed to produce up to 540 lbs of flake ice in 24 hours. The voltage configuration for this model is standard 115v/60/1-ph and it has a minimum circuit ampacity of 16.0 amps. The production of 100 lbs of ice requires the consumption of 4.50 kWh of power and 12 gallons of water.
Flake ice machine is often used for seafood displays and medical applications because of how quickly it cools items with the increased contact it provides. Unlike other ice forms, flake ice is a much denser and conforms to the shape of objects with minimal airgaps. The stainless steel auger and evaporator installed in this model insures it will serve without issue for many years in a demanding commercial environment.
Air moves through this unit from front to back hot air is exhausted to the rear keeping the area in front of the unit cooler. The front intake of this ice machine is easy to access for inspection and cleaning
