This Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker is rated to produce a maximum of 1,053 lbs of ice every 24 hours (tested under ideal conditions). The GRC1061 remote condenser must be used with this unit. 12 gallons of water and 4.2 kWh of power are consumed for every 100 lbs of nugget cube ice this unit makes. This unit uses 208-230v/60/1-ph with a current draw of 15.2 amps. This model has qualified for ENERGY STAR certification.

Water-cooled ice makers and self-contained air-cooled models are inefficient to operate in hot, arid climates where water is prohibitively priced. Air-cooled units by design, dump heat into the surrounding area and water-cooled units require lots of water. That’s why a remote condenser unit is the go-to design for operators in areas that are hot and dry.

The industrial-grade roller bearings inside this unit allow the auger to operate smoothly and efficiently for many years. The auger is powered by a gearbox that is protected by the SystemSafe monitoring system. Should the gearbox experience exceptionally high amounts of load, the ice maker will halt operation to prevent it from being damaged.
