This Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine is a Pearl Ice Maker that is a top mounting air-cooled nugget ice maker that can produce up to 1,053 lbs of ice in a 24-hour time frame. This unit is wired for 208-230v/60/1-ph power at 11.8 amps. For this unit to produce 100 lbs of nugget cube ice it requires 4.06 kWh of power and 12 gallons of water.
Pearl Ice® is a versatile ice form that can be used in many applications. From healthcare to the food service industry, consumers love Pearl Ice®because it is chewable, and cools very quickly while maintaining the flavor of beverages. Pearl Ice® makers are far more efficient than ice cubers since all water entering the evaporator chamber is used for ice production. This Ice Machine model is ENERGY STAR qualified.
The airflow in this unit is from front to back pushing hot air behind the unit to keep operators cooler. Having the intake in the front also allows for easy inspection and cleaning of the air intake.
