Glastender DI-FR36-DW-FL Description
Glastender DI-FR36-DW-FL Ice Cream Freezer with Dipper Well is a counter mounted ice cream station with a dedicated dipper well and faucet. This unit includes a flip lid that is hinged in the middle and opens from either end. This allows you to easily access either of the 3-gallon containers inside separately through a smaller opening which allows less warm air to enter.
The lids, interior liner, work surface, and dipper well are all made from stainless steel. The internal dimensions are 10-1/8″ x 20-1/8″ x 12 1/2″ and can hold 2 3-gallon containers.
Installation requires a 32-¾” x 14-¾” cut-out in the counter and the unit hangs 23” below the top of the counter. The external galvanized steel portion of the freezer is 24” wide and 14” long, make sure that there is at least 5” of clearance on all sides for proper airflow of at least 150 CFM.
Keeping ice cream scoops clean is simple and out of the way with the 6” diameter integral dipper well and faucet. The faucet is NSF, UL, ANSI 372, and CSA certified and accepts ⅜” cold water leads and the drain uses a 1-½” I.P.S. threaded drain.
The unit operates from -5°F to 10°F with a ¼ HP self-contained cooling unit that uses R404A refrigerant and has foamed-in-place CFC free insulation.
Mounting hardware including U-channels, angle brackets, and mounting bolts are provided for simple installation, or removal when necessary. The unit uses 120v/60Hz/1-ph power and it’s recommended that it has its own 15 amp circuit through the included 6-foot cord and NEMA 5-15P grounded plug.
