Glastender DI-FR-DW Description
The Glastender DI-FR-DW Ice Cream Freezer with Dipper Well is an drop-in counter installed model that can hold a single 3-gallon tub of ice cream. All exposed parts, the lid, working surface, and dipping well are made from attractive and easy to clean stainless steel. Glastender's Commercial Dipping Cabinets are some of the best in-counter solutions available on the market.
The internal cavity is also made from stainless steel it is 12-½” deep, 10-⅛” wide and 10-⅛” long. The ice cream is stored at an optimal temperature between -5°F and 10°F, which keeps it easy to dip and ready to serve. Everything’s kept cold with a ¼ HP self-contained unit with 1,945 BTU/hr of heat rejection and foamed-in-place CFC free insulation.
For convenience, ease of sanitation and dipping, a dipper well is integrated into this model. The faucet uses a ⅜” cold water lead and is NSF/ANSI 72 compliant. The drain for the dipper well uses a 1-½” I.P.S. threaded drain.
When installing this ice cream freezer into your counter you will need a 22-¾” wide and 14-¾” front to back cutout. The exterior portion hidden beneath the counter is 14” wide, 14” from front to back and 23” deep and is made from galvanized steel. The unit requires 5” of clearance on all sides and at least 150 CFM of airflow to operate properly. For ease of installation mounting hardware is included. The included mounting hardware makes it simple to remove the unit if necessary.
This ice cream freezer uses 120/60/1-ph power and the manufacturer recommends that it is plugged into its own dedicated 15 amp circuit through its 6 cord with NEMA 5-15P plug.
