Looking for a high-performance boilerless single-compartment gas combi oven and steamer for your business? The Blodgett Steam BX-14G SGL with a capacity of 12 full-size hotel pans or seven (7) full-size sheet pans will be an asset to any production line. This unit is made of rust-resistant, easy-to-clean stainless steel construction and the boilerless design produces the steam required for cooking, but also helps you save on water expenses!
This unit comes with a total of five (5) stainless steel wire shelves, each movable to 13 positions to fit food of different sizes. It is mounted on a floor stand with rack support to provide stability and storage for essentials. You can set the temperature up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit while a multi-speed reversible fan moves all the hot air and steam throughout the fully insulated chamber to cook the food on every rack evenly. The unit is open vented to prevent flavor transfer while the door has a safety system in place that releases the steam before the door fully opens. It also allows you to release steam at the push of a switch.
The Blodgett gas combi oven uses steam, hot air, and a combination of both to cook the dishes quickly and seal in all the original qualities such as the taste, texture, and nutrients to produce a healthy delicious meal. Other cooking modes include cool down, rethermalizing, steam-on-demand, which allows you to introduce steam as needed, and Vario Steaming, which helps produce food that is perfectly tender and moist on the inside and perfectly crisped on the outside. This unit also allows you to program and store up to 100 recipes, so you can prepare menu offerings much faster. The unit even allows you to upload and download all these recipes via the USB port.
The interior is illuminated by halogen lights for superior visibility through the beautiful dual-pane glass window, so you always know what is going on inside without having to interrupt the cooking process. This unit can hold food at safe temperatures until they are ready to serve, and with the help of the 4” removable fillet core temperature probe, it is easy to confirm whether the food is cooking as it should or not.
This commercial oven is super easy to keep clean. It has a coved interior and a hinged pressure panel and inner glass. The unit lets you know when the unit needs deliming and you can get this important process started with the semi-auto delime system, retractable hose on board, deliming bottle and pump assembly, and pressure spray bottle. A drip pan is mounted on the door to keep the surrounding area safe and dry.
This Blodgett BX-14E SGL full-size electric combi oven meets cETLus and NSF standards and comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor. It requires a 115v or 208-240 voltage with a single-phase connection. You can customize the unit with more components and accessories available below.
