The HBR27HC-1-G Horizon Series Refrigerator from Beverage Air is a great pick for a back-of-house unit that will keep food safe for as long as possible. The interior of this refrigerator can hold up to 25.88 cu. ft. to store food safely for as long as possible.

Food is stored on four epoxy-coated wire shelves that maximize the available space. The interior liner is made from stainless steel for easy cleaning and maintenance and everything is lit with dependable LED lighting that stays cool. The interior is accessed through an anti-microbial handle that swiftly opens the stainless steel door. A self-closing feature and plug-in magnetic gasket make sure that it is never left ajar and maintain a cold temperature while minimizing power costs. When accessing multiple items the door can be opened to 120º and it will remain open allowing users to use both hands.

A ¼ HP compressor producing 1480 BTU/hr of cooling is housed in a self-contained bottom-mounted refrigeration unit to save space. Food inside is kept between 36ºF and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained reliably for many years. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with a non-electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.

The unit can be configured with 3” casters or 6” legs at no extra cost but come standard with 6” casters allowing it to be easily moved into and out of place for cleaning. An 8-foot power cable comes from the factory prewired with a NEMA 5-15P plug set for use with standard 115v/60/1-ph power.
