For commercial kitchens to operate efficiently they need to be able to rely on their refrigeration equipment on a daily basis to avoid product loss, the HR3HC-1G Horizon Series Refrigerator from Beverage Air provides operators with peace of mind that food can be stored for its full shelf-life.

This unit has three sections that provide users with options to organize items within its 71.52 cu. ft. of space. The sections come with a total of nine epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the amount of usable space. LED lighting is much more dependable than incandescent or fluorescent solutions while producing much less heat which saves on refrigeration costs. The interior features corrosion-resistant aluminum that is easy to maintain and clean. The doors feature anti-microbial handles that swiftly open. A self-closing feature and magnetic gaskets make sure that doors are never left ajar and cold temperature is easily maintained while minimizing power costs. When accessing multiple items the doors can be opened to 120º and they will remain open allowing users to use both hands.

The top-mounted refrigeration system features variable speed technology to provide plenty of efficient cooling. This configuration allows heat to easily rise out of the unit naturally through convection. Food inside the refrigerated sections is kept safe by chilling them to between 36ºF and 38ºF to maximize shelf life. This temperature is maintained with full electronic control for efficiency. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil will make sure efficient cooling will be maintained for many years. This unit defrosts automatically with a non-electric system to eliminate downtime to maintain cooling efficiency. To meet all environmental regulations R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used.

To make maintenance and cleaning easy, these units ship with 6” casters by default, however, it can be configured with 6” legs or 3” casters, to best fit your establishment’s needs. An 8-foot power cable is included with a NEMA 5-15P plug set to connect the unit to a standard outlet providing 115v/60/1-ph power at 6.0 amps.
