Vulcan 36IRB-N Description
If your restaurant kitchen uses natural gas and you’re on the market for an infrared heated salamander the 36IRB-N Salamander Broiler is a great unit to consider. High-quality Salamander Broilers like this model from Vulcan are designed to be mounted on a range’s reinforced back riser but can be either wall-mounted or placed on a countertop with optional hardware.
Two ceramic infrared burners inside the unit can be adjusted independently for dual-zone operation. A standing pilot adds convenience while two control knobs on either side can set temperatures between 250°F and 800°F at the rack.
The rack measures 27-½” wide and 13” deep featuring heavy-duty chrome plating. To catch crumbs and spills there’s a full-width pan under the grid that is easily removed. The grid’s height is easily adjusted to 6 positions for optimal results with a knob that remains cool to the touch.
The sides, front, and top are made from stainless steel making the unit easy to clean and maintain.
