In some establishments, Electric Food Slicers are only used for prepping vegetables and meat once each day. If you’re only going to use the slicer briefly every day paying for a heavy-duty full-featured slicer might be overkill. This unit is designed to slice rectangular items with the maximum dimensions of 9-¼” x 7-½”, Square items with the maximum dimensions of 7-½” x 7-½”, and round items with a maximum diameter of 8”. The hairsplittingly sharp 12” low friction stainless steel blade with a German hollow ground edge spins at 345 RPM cutting easily through vegetables and meat. This device can make slices up to ½” thick. The permanently mounted edge guard on this unit keeps operators safe from the ridiculously sharp blade.

The Univex 6612M Value™ Series Slicer is comfortable to use thanks to the ergonomic design. Users will be pleased to know that the food that’s being processed’s juices won’t spray all over the place thanks to the specifically designed tray fence that collects the juices in the concave base where can be wiped away.

Preforming cleaning tasks on the unit is simple, every spot can be cleaned after the carriage has been detached. The anodized aluminum body is polished to a sanitary finish which is aesthetically pleasing and easy to sanitize. The unit includes a removable sharpener that is built-in for convenient and regular sharpening.

The blade is powered by a ½ HP motor through the reliable belt-driven transmission. This model can be ordered to use two different voltages 220v/50/1-ph at 2.5 amps and 115v/60/1-ph at 4.0 amps. Externally the unit measures 22-¼ inches deep, 16-⅝ inches tall, and 21-¼ inches wide.
