If you only require an intermediate volume slicer for prepping food once a day, a fully featured heavy-duty slicer is overkill. This light duty unit is the most cost-effective option for your use case.

This unit can slice square items up to 5” x 5”, rectangular items up to 8” x 5”, and round items up to 7” in diameter. The razor-sharp 12” German hollow ground stainless steel blade spins at 420 RPM and easily slices through food. This unit can make slices up to ½” thick. A permanently mounted edge guard makes this unit very safe to use.

The Univex 4612 Economy Series Slicer is comfortable to use thanks to its ergonomic design. A drip tray fence keeps all liquid from food being sliced from hitting the operator or controls. The liquid is redirected into the concave base where it can be wiped down easily.

The carriage is easily detached for simple cleaning allowing you to do a really thorough cleaning. The anodized aluminum body of this unit has a sanitary polish. While it may look stunning, functionally it is so the unit is easy to clean and maintain to make sure it will last for many years of service. The unit comes with a built-in sharpener that can be easily removed for further cleaning.

The blade is powered by a powerful ¼ HP motor with a belt drive power delivery system. There are two power options available for this slicer, 115v/60/1-ph at 1.9 amps and 220v/50/1-ph at 1.0 amps. The unit’s overall dimensions are 22-¼” front-to-back, 16” in height, and 18-½” in width.
