This is a deluxe refrigerator intended to meet the requirements of commercial kitchens. The robust stainless steel top, front, sides, doors, and interior provide a strong, stable structure for this unit. This refrigerator is also equipped with Turbo-Air’s innovative self-cleaning condenser system, which automatically cleans dust in the condenser to prevent system malfunction and extend the refrigerator’s lifespan. The self-cleaning system has a spinning brush that moves up and down two to three times every day to remove dust that may have passed through the fine mesh filter in front of the condenser. This cuts back on your cleaning time and saves on energy consumption costs.

This refrigerator measures 48 1/4” wide x 30” deep x 33 1/2” tall. It has (2) stainless steel doors with easy-grip recessed handles and self-closing hinges to provide convenience when opening and closing the doors. If your business requires maximum protection for your refrigerated items, you can have the doors fitted with optional locks for an extra fee. The doors have ABS sheet liners to resist water condensation with thermal efficiency. They also have one-piece door gaskets that can be removed effortlessly for fast cleaning and replacement.

The Turbo-Air TWR-48SD-N has (2) sections that have a combined full capacity of 12 cu. ft. The unit has (2) stainless steel wire shelves that do not tarnish over time. You can also get an extra stainless steel shelf at an additional price. For fast and easy product loading, the interior has energy-efficient LED lighting. This refrigerator has layers of high-density polyurethane insulation to make sure the cold air stays inside and the interior remains cool. It operates at an adjustable temperature range of 33° F to 38° F. You can keep an eye on the temperature using the unit’s electronic display.

In 2017, the DOE and EPA revised their refrigerant management regulations. The Turbo-Air TWR-49SD-N, which uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, is in complete compliance with these regulations. With an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, R290 is an environment-friendly choice for responsible businesses.

This unit stands on a set of 4” swivel casters to allow you to move it to a different place if needed. The front casters can be locked into place once you find the best position for the refrigerator. You may also get a set of 6” legs that are made of either stainless steel or ABS plastic at an additional charge.
