This unit combines refrigerated storage space for your items and a flat-top work surface for preparing your products.  It also saves time by eliminating the extra steps you need to go from your refrigerator to your worktop.

With more than 20 years in the business of providing world-class refrigeration products, Turbo-Air designed this unit with quality and energy efficiency in mind. The refrigerator’s exterior has stainless steel front, top, and sides, while the entire interior is built with stainless steel. The unit has (1) stainless door and (2) stainless steel drawers. Each of them are equipped with recessed handles designed ergonomically so you can hold them comfortably. They also have one-piece magnetic door gaskets that can be removed without needing tools and ABS sheet door liners to resist water condensation.

The Turbo-Air TWR-48SD-D2-N is a two-section unit. With dimensions of 48 1/4” x 30” x 33 1/2”, the entire cabinet can hold up to 12 cu. ft. of refrigerated food items. The unit has (1) stainless steel shelf, with the option to add an extra shelf if needed to better organize your items. The drawers have pan support bars, which can hold 1/6 size 6”-deep pans not included with the unit.

The refrigerator’s temperature can be adjusted from 33° F to 38° F. You can monitor the temperature using the unit’s digital temperature control and monitoring system accessible through an external digital display. The cabinet’s interior also uses high-density polyurethane insulation foamed in place to shut in cold air.

To reduce energy consumption and extend the lifespan of this unit, Turbo-Air equipped the Turbo-Air TWR-48SD-D2-N with a self-cleaning condenser system. The condenser is protected from dust by a fine mesh filter that catches dust particles that may have been drawn in by the fan. The system also includes a rotating brush that automatically removes dust in the condenser two to three times per day. This prevents dust from accumulating in the condenser and decreases the amount of manual cleaning you have to do.

The Turbo-Air TWR-48SD-D2-N is a self-contained rear-mount worktop refrigerator. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is safer for the environment than other refrigerants. R290 has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it a great choice for business owners who are mindful of their environmental footprint. It also meets the revised regulations on refrigerant management released by the DOE and EPA in 2017.

This unit stands on a set of 4” swivel casters that have locks on the front set. For an additional fee, you may opt for 6” stainless steel legs or 6” ABS plastic legs.

The Turbo-Air TWR-48SD-D2-N runs on 6 HP, 115v/60/1-ph, and 2.4 amps. It is certified by cETLus and ETL-Sanitation.
