Save time and space with the Turbo-Air TWF-48SD-N Super Deluxe Worktop Freezer. This freezer and work surface combines two functions in a single unit, allowing you to maximize the space in your commercial kitchen. Turbo-Air, the company behind this product, has been providing the foodservice industry with premium refrigeration products for more than two decades.

The Turbo-Air TWF-48SD-N is designed to last in the high-stress, high-pressure environment of a commercial kitchen. The unit has stainless steel front, sides, and top, further strengthened by an all-stainless steel interior. The two stainless steel doors are equipped with ABS sheet door liners that protect against water condensation with thermal efficiency. They also have sleek recessed door handles ergonomically designed so you can easily grip them with your fingers. If you need to provide maximum protection for your frozen items, you can opt for door locks that come at an additional charge. The doors also have one-piece magnetic door gaskets that can be removed without needing special equipment, which makes cleaning them quick and easy.

The interior has (2) sections, with each section adding up to a total full storage capacity of 12 cu. ft. to give you plenty of space for storing frozen items. The freezer has (2) stainless steel wire shelves, which do not corrode when exposed to moisture. This makes them a hygienic choice for storing frozen food products. For an additional fee, you can also include an extra stainless steel shelf to help make organization more efficient.

Energy-efficient LED lights illuminate the interior so you can load and unload your items with ease. The cabinet has foamed-in-place high-density polyurethane insulation, which acts to trap the cold air inside the freezer. You can adjust the temperature anywhere between -10° F to 0° F. The freezer has a digital temperature control and monitoring system with a digital display that allows you to make sure the temperature is at a safe and constant level.

Turbo-Air equipped this freezer with a self-cleaning condenser system that keeps the condenser in good condition and extends the product life of the freezer. A fine mesh filter shields the condenser from dust, while a rotating brush cleans away dust that passed through the filter. The rotating brush moves two to three times per day to make sure that dust buildup does not accumulate in the condenser. This gives you an energy-efficient condenser that doesn’t require a lot of cleaning during regular maintenance. The evaporator coils are specially treated to protect the evaporator against corrosion that may be caused by food acids.

The Turbo-Air TWF-48SD-N is a self-contained freezer with a refrigeration system mounted on the rear. It has 4” swivel casters with locks for the front casters so you can slide them into place and lock them in. For increased stability, you may also get an optional set of 6” stainless steel legs or 6” ABS plastic legs at an additional charge. The worktop has a backsplash to keep food from splattering on nearby walls.

This unit is cooled by R290 refrigerant, a hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets the updated regulations on refrigerant management as released by the DOE and EPA in 2017. R290 has reduced impact on global warming and does not release substances that contribute to ozone depletion.

The Turbo-Air TWF-48SD-N runs on 1/2 HP, 115v/60/1-ph, and 2.4 amps. It is certified by cETLus, ETL-Sanitation, and ENERGY STAR®.
