The Turbo-AIR TUR-48SD-D2-N Super Deluxe Undercounter Refrigerator is a compact refrigerator that lets you make full use of the extra space under your counter. This is designed and manufactured by Turbo-Air, which has been providing world-class refrigeration products for more than 20 years.

With stainless steel top, front, sides, door, drawers, and interior panels, this undercounter refrigerator is a tough piece of equipment that you can expect to last in the most rigorous commercial kitchen environments.

The self-closing door and the (2) drawers have easy-grip recessed handles that are stylish and ergonomic at the same time. The doors are equipped with ABS door liners that can resist water condensation. They are also fitted with easily removable one-piece magnetic gasket to make cleaning and replacing them a breeze.

Measuring 48-1/4” wide x 31” deep x 35-5/8” high, the Turbo-Air TUR-48SD-D2-N has two sections that can provide a full capacity of 12 cu. ft. The interior uses high-density polyurethane insulation to help ensure cold air stays inside. Behind the door is (1) corrosion-resistant stainless steel shelf for organizing your items. You may also get an additional stainless steel shelf for an extra charge. The drawers have pan support bars for holding food pans. Each drawer can accommodate 1/6 size 6”-deep pans not included with the unit. For easy loading and unloading, the interior is well-lit by energy-efficient LED lighting.

This refrigerator operates at 33° F to 38° F. You can adjust and monitor the temperature using the unit’s digital control and monitoring system, which has an external digital display.

This is a self-contained unit with a refrigeration system mounted at the rear. Turbo-Air fitted this unit with a self-cleaning condenser system to help you reduce dust buildup that compromises the performance of the condenser. The self-cleaning system is protected with a fine mesh filter that catches dust. It also has a rotating brush that moves up and down two to three times per day to remove dust that may have passed through the filter. This unit also uses an evaporator coated with a special anti-corrosion treatment.

The Turbo-Air TUR-48SD-D2-N uses a 1/5 HP compressor with R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant that complies with the DOE and EPA’s strict new regulations on refrigerant management. R290 has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, which means it is not harmful to the ozone layer and contributes little to global warming compared to other refrigerants.

This unit stands on 4” swivel casters that can be locked in front to keep the refrigerator stationary. An optional set of 6” stainless steel or ABS plastic legs are also available for an additional fee. Turbo-Air also offers a stainless steel double overshelf that can placed on top of the refrigerator for extra storage space and a backsplash guard, both of which are sold separately.

The Turbo-Air TUR-48SD-D2-N is certified by cETLus and ETL-Sanitation. It operates on  115v/60/1-ph at 2.4 amps.
