Sandwich and salad fixings are easy to organize in a full-width cold bunker with a dozen 4” deep ⅙-size pans.
The reach-in cabinets each have a stainless steel shelf to separate items and everything is clearly visible with the LED interior lighting. The interior of the reach-in cabinets is maintained between 33°F and 39°F to best preserve food. Fans inside each cabinet evenly distribute the cold air and automatically switch off whenever a door is opened to prevent warm air from being drawn in.
The cold bunkers are maintained below 41°F to make sure the ingredients are nice and fresh and to meet NSF requirements. This temperature is maintained even when the insulated pans are open thanks to Turbo Air’s forced-air cooling system which doesn’t just cool the bottom of the pans, cool air is distributed all around them.
Cooling is provided by a ¼ HP compressor using eco-friendly hydrocarbon-based R-290 refrigerant. And to make sure the compressor is running at maximum efficiency Turbo Air includes their patented self-cleaning condenser. A rotating brush moves up and down along a fine mesh filter in front of the condenser to prevent dust from accumulating. This keeps airflow free and allows for the most efficient heat transfer.
This prep table uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power and requires 4.4 amps of current at full load, a 9-foot power cable is included. Moving the unit into place is made simple with the included 4” swivel casters.
