The TST-36SD-N6 Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit from Turbo Air is a small to mid-size model with a full-width cold bunker offering 10 ⅙-size pans and refrigerated reach-in cabinets with a total of 11 cu. ft of space.

The cold bunker features an insulated cover and a powerful forced-air cooling system that keeps everything below 41°F to meet NSF requirements. This temperature is maintained even when the insulated pan cover is open because of the cold air-shield created by the forced-air system. In front of the cold bunker, a ½” thick cutting board made from polyethylene running the full width of the prep table provides the ideal worktop for working on salads and sandwiches. This cutting board is fixed in place but is easy to remove for cleaning.

Below the main worktop, stainless steel doors with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation keep the interior temperature of the reach-in cabinets between 33°F and 39°F to best preserve food. Each cabinet has a sturdy stainless steel shelf to maximize the use of space in the cabinets while LED lighting at each corner makes sure locating items is easy.

At the heart of this prep table’s refrigeration system is an efficient ⅕ HP compressor unit using environmentally friendly hydrocarbon R-290 refrigerant. This refrigerant is ozone-safe and has minimal greenhouse gas emissions. Turbo Air’s patented self-cleaning condenser technology keeps the condenser clean without any downtime or addition to labor costs. The patented system uses a rotating brush that regularly cleans the condenser to keep it free from dust making sure airflow and thermal exchange are as efficient as possible.

A 108” power cable makes it simple to connect this prep table to an outlet using standard 115v/60/1-ph electrical power that can deliver 2.9 amps of current. This unit is highly portable with the included 4” swivel casters.
