The compact TST-28SD-N Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit from Turbo Air is one of the best prep tables available for establishments with limited space or need a unit that is easy to move around. This prep table has a cold bunker that holds 8 ⅙-size pans (pans are included) and a refrigerated cabinet with 7 cu. ft. of storage space.

Preparing a sandwich or salad on this prep table is convenient on the full-width high-density polyethylene cutting board. This cutting board is 91-/2” deep and secured in place for stability and can be easily removed for cleaning. The cold bunker features an insulated pan cover and forced-air cooling. The powerful forced-air cooling system provides cooling under, over, and around all the pans creating a cold air-shield that keeps everything below 41°F even with the pan cover open.

Below the worktop, the ergonomically designed insulated door provides easy access to additional refrigerated storage space for larger items. A stainless steel shelf is included to maximize the use of space. The interior LED lighting features LED lights at each corner of the cabinet to make sure locating items is quick to limit the amount of warm air that can enter. Warm air is further kept at bay by automatically switching off the interior fan that keeps the temperature even all-throughout.

An efficient ⅕ HP compressor using R-290 hydrocarbon provides cooling for this prep table. To keep the compressor running efficiently, Turbo Air developed a self-cleaning condenser. This patented system keeps the condenser unit free from dust or any other debris for optimal airflow and heat exchange. This eliminates downtime, labor costs, and service calls all while reducing power consumption and extending the service life of the refrigeration system.

With this unit only drawing 2.8 amps of standard 115v/60/1-ph power, it’s easy to find a power source for this prep table. A 9-foot power cable provides additional convenience while 4” swivel casters make this prep table to move to where it needs to be.
