The Turbo-Air TOM-W-40SB-N brings the best of both worlds together. It has an open display merchandiser at the bottom for encouraging impulse buys and a refrigerated top shelf for storing deli meats, cheeses, baked goods and other food products that need to be sealed in cold air.

Heavy-Duty Construction

This combination merchandiser has a durable exterior frame coated with black anti-corrosion paint to keep it from developing rust that compromises the lifespan of the unit. The interior is all stainless steel while the tempered glass front for the top shelf is curved to bounce off light from the ceiling and allow full visibility for your products.

Sufficient Display Space

The refrigerated top shelf has a full capacity of 4.2 cu. ft. while the open display unit at the bottom of the merchandiser can accommodate up to 6.4 cu. ft. A pair of solid shelves made of hygienic stainless steel is included. You may also include optional price tag channels for an additional fee.  

LED Interior Lighting

The Turbo-Air TOM-W-40SB-N is illuminated by energy-efficient, eye-catching LED lighting. LED consumes significantly less power than fluorescent or incandescent lights. It also does not release less heat than other types of lighting so you can rest assured it won’t cause temperature increases in the interior.

Powerful Insulation

This unit is insulated using foamed-in-place polyurethane cell insulation to ensure that the cold air stays within the confines of the interior. A perforated interior back wall and top panel promotes easy airflow to provide quick and balanced cooling for the top and bottom displays.

Self-Cleaning Condenser

The Turbo-Air TOM-W-40SB-N has a low-maintenance condenser equipped with a self-cleaning mechanism to ensure clean and dust-free operations. The condenser has a rotating brush, which is programmed to move up and down the condenser coil 2 to 3 times per day to eliminate the chance of dust buildup and system failure due to congestion.

Easy-to-Use Controls

The interior temperatures of this unit can be adjusted via its built-in digital thermostat. A solar-powered thermometer lets you keep track of the temperature and make sure your products are exposed to optimal temperature levels.

Environment-Friendly R290 Refrigerant

To comply with the latest standards on environment-friendly refrigerant use, the Turbo-Air TOM-W-40SB-N uses R290. This specialized hydrocarbon refrigerant is known to have zero effect on the ozone layer and minimal contribution to global warming.

Energy Requirements

This unit runs on a 3/4 HP compressor and has a voltage of 115v/60/1-ph.

• Recommended operating conditions: TOM models are designed to operate in an environment where temperature & humidity do not exceed 75°F and 55% respectively. Units should not be installed near HVAC vents, fans or doorways that will disrupt the air curtain and compromise the function of the cabinet. Air curtain models will run most efficiently when completely loaded with product.
