The Turbo-Air MUF-48-N Undercounter Freezer features heavy-duty stainless steel exterior front, top, and side panels reinforced by durable aluminum interior sides to ensure that this unit can take a beating even in the toughest commercial kitchens. The freezer’s interior floor is built with corrosion-resistant stainless steel, which is the most hygienic choice for foodservice establishments.

Ergonomic Self-Closing Doors for Easy Opening and Closing

This two-section freezer has (2) swing doors fitted with self-closing hinges that ensure they are never left open by accident. Each door has ergonomically designed easy-grip handles that are recessed into the front panel to give the unit a smart, modern appearance. Optional locks are available for an additional fee for each door if you would like to secure your items under lock and key. Door locks require extra lead time.

The doors are lined with a sheet of durable ABS plastic that can resist damage that may be caused by water condensation. Both doors have one-piece magnetic gaskets, which can be removed without tools for fast cleaning and replacement.

The Turbo-Air MUF-48-N Undercounter Freezer offers a maximum storage capacity of 12.86 cu. ft., giving you plenty of space to store your frozen items. The interior comes with (2) heavy-duty polyethylene-coated wire shelves that can be adjusted in height. An extra wire shelf is available at an additional charge if you need it to make organizing the contents of the freezer easier.

Optimum Freezing Temperatures for Worry-Free Food Preservation

The freezer’s temperature ranges from -10° F to 0° F to ensure that your items are kept at optimum freezing temperatures. You can adjust the temperature using the unit’s digital temperature control system, which comes with a display that allows you to keep an eye on the temperature levels. The freezer is fully insulated using CFC-free high-density polyurethane to make sure cold air stays inside the cabinet.

A Condenser that Automatically Cleans Itself Every Day

Turbo-Air equipped this freezer with a self-cleaning condenser that removes dust daily. The condenser is also shielded from dust and other small particles with a fine mesh filter. Anything that gets through the filter is cleaned away using a rotating brush that automatically moves up and down the condenser two to three times. This ensures no dust buildup creates undue stress on the freezer and causes it to work harder than it should.

Mobile Freezer Supported by Swivel Casters

The Turbo-Air MUF-48-N Undercounter Freezer is supported by swivel casters that measure 4” in diameter. These allow you to effortlessly move the unit into place without lifting a muscle. Locks on the front casters also keep the freezer stationary once it is in place. A set of legs made of stainless steel or ABS plastic is available for an additional fee. An optional backsplash guard for protecting the freezer’s top is also available, as well as a double overhead shelf for providing extra storage. Both the splash guard and overhead shelf are available for a fee.

Earth-Friendly Freezer that Doesn’t Harm the Ozone Layer

This unit is cooled using R290 refrigerant, a hydrocarbon refrigerant that fully complies with the regulations on refrigerant use and management set by the EPA and DOE. R290 has an Ozone Depletion Potential of 0 and a Global Warming Potential of 3. It does not release CFCs and other substances that degrade the ozone layer and adds little to global warming.
