Turbo Air JUF-60-N Undercounter Freezers are perfect for commercial kitchens that want to increase their frozen storage requirements but don’t have a lot of room to spare. This undercounter unit is a self-contained, side-mount freezer that lets you fit it right below your counter. Because it is a front-breathing unit, you can set it flush against the wall so that it doesn’t have to stick out like a sore thumb from beneath your countertop.

The Turbo-Air JUF-60-N is a heavy-duty undercounter freezer built to withstand the most demanding kitchen environments. Turbo-Air, which has been providing world-class refrigeration systems for more than 20 years, built this unit with heavy-duty stainless steel front, top, sides, and interior floor and durable aluminum interior panels. The two doors that open up to each of the two sections are made of stainless steel and lined with aluminum on the interior.

Each door has ergonomically designed handles that allow you to comfortably wrap your fingers around them. The recessed handles also contribute to the freezer’s sleek and modern appearance to give your kitchen a neat, streamlined look. The doors are fitted with one-piece removable door gaskets for easy cleaning and replacement. This unit stands on 4” swivel casters to help you move it into place. It locks into position using the locks on the front casters, but you can also get a set of 6” stainless steel legs or 6” ABS plastic legs at additional charges.

The interior is illuminated by bright LED lighting, making it a breeze to load and unload food items. It has a full capacity of 13.58 cu. ft., which gives you copious amounts of space for storing frozen food items. The interior is fitted with with (2) polyethylene-coated wire shelves, with the option to add more shelves as needed. The freezer’s cabinet is insulated with layers of high-density polyurethane to keep cold air inside the freezer and make sure your frozen items are exposed to the right temperatures at all times.

The Turbo-Air JUF-60-N is equipped with a temperature control and monitoring system that lets you set the freezer’s temperature and keep an eye on it. You can adjust the temperature anywhere from -10° F to 0° F using the digital display on the freezer’s front panel.

To clean the condenser, you simply remove the front grille cover and use the handy brush that comes with the freezer. This unit also uses Turbo-Air’s signature hot gas condensate system, which adds to your energy savings and reduces the likelihood of refrigerant leakage and condensate overflow.

The Turbo-Air JUF-60-N freezer is cooled using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, a specialized refrigerant that has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP)  of 3. It meets the DOE and EPA’s regulations on refrigerant management updated in 2017. For environmentally conscious businesses aware of their impact on the planet, the R290 is clearly the refrigerant of choice.
