The Scotsman HID540AW-1 Meridian™ Ice Machine/Dispenser is a wall mounting air cooled ice water dispenser that conveniently dispenses ice and water. This air cooled commercial ice dispenser produces H2 Nugget Ice which is well known to be chewable, slow-melting. This model can reliably dispense nugget ice without jamming or freezing up. The ice nuggets produced by this machine measure ¾” x 5/16” x ⅜” under ideal circumstances it can produce up to 500 lbs in a 24-hour time span. The ice water dispenser has built-in storage for up to 40 lbs of ice.

To keep this commercial ice dispenser extremely sanitary, key parts are molded with antimicrobial AquaArmor that includes AgION™. The evaporator, as well as the exterior panels of this unit, are made from stylish and durable stainless steel. To make sure this machine runs for many years without issue, greaseless bearings were included in the design.

Simple to identify LED diagnostic lights within the unit allow you to quickly ascertain the unit’s status which can expedite any troubleshooting efforts that are necessary. This unit has an interesting feature that lets you not feel bad about losing the manual. A QR code inside the unit, near the diagnostic LEDs, provides fast access to all the information you need. The QR code is specific to a particular unit and aside from displaying manuals, the service crew can access parts lists and warranty history. To keep the software on this unit up-to-date a USB drive is provided.

This commercial ice machine only requires 5.5 kWh of power and 12 gallons of water to create 100 lbs of ice.
