The Scotsman HID312A-1 Meridian™ Ice Machine/Dispenser is a touch-free, one-stop air cooled ice dispenser that provides convenient access to ice and water. The use of infrared dispensing eliminates moving parts which can fail and eliminates one more place for dirt, grime and germs could hide. This ice dispenser chewable H2 Nugget Ice which melts slowly and dispenses reliably. Its ice bin can hold up to 12 lbs of the ⅗” x 5/16” x ⅜” nuggets and produce up to 260 lbs per day.
Keeping the Scotsman HID312A-1 Meridian™ air cooled commercial ice water dispenser clean is simple and can be done without any tools. The Air filter is easily pulled out from the left side of the unit and washed. Aside from the tool-less cleaning Scotsman uses AquaArmor with AgION™ on key internal and external components. AquaArmor is an advanced material that prevents microbial growth.
Scotsman really had ease of service and maintenance in mind when they were designing the Meridian line, all major components can be accessed by removing the front panels without moving the unit. An LED readout lets service crew know what’s going on with the machine eliminating long service times from manual troubleshooting. A unique feature from Scotsman is the inclusion of a scannable QR code unique to each unit which shows its warranty information as well as easy access to manuals and parts lists. To top it all off, this unit uses greaseless bearings specially designed to reduce the amount of maintenance this unit needs.
This unit only uses 12 gallons of water and 4.9 kWh of power for every 100 lbs of ice it produces. The external dimensions of this commercial ice machine are 18-¼” in width, 24-⅜” front-to-back, and 35” in height.
