The Scotsman CU50GA-1 undercounter ice maker is an air-cooled commercial ice maker can produce up to 65 lbs of gourmet ice every 24 hours and has 26 lbs of storage. Scotsman’s gourmet ice cubes are crystal clear and slow melting making them a perfect match for top-shelf drinks.
The uniquely-shaped 1” x 1-⅛” x 1-¼” full size cubes produced by this unit are taste-free and odorless and won’t dilute the flavor of drinks. To produce ice of this caliber Scotsman includes a water quality sensor that detects hard water conditions and automatically purges water laden with minerals in every harvest cycle. Only the purest water is frozen into full size cubes producing extremely clear ice.
A user-friendly control panel lets operators know the device’s status and has an alert system in the event there’s no water as well as reminders to clean the unit. This unit comes with a handy ice scoop to properly handle the gourmet ice. This unit can be used for outdoor applications.
The unit features a stylish stainless steel exterior and measures 14-⅞” wide, 22” front-to-back, and 34-⅜” in height including the height adjustable 1” feet. This model uses a gravity drain and requires tubing with a ⅝” internal diameter.
To produce 100 lbs of gourmet ice 14.40 kWh and 34 gallons of water are consumed by this machine. This unit utilizes American standard 115v/60/1-ph power.

Finally bought a new ice machine after my old one broke down after several years of using it. Scotsman has been around for a while, I have actually bought commercial machines from them back in the day and I'm happy to find out that the quality of their products has only been even better since then. Installing it was easy. I didn't encounter any problems when I turned it on, and in a short amount of time there was a lot of large and clear ice coming out of the bin. The noise is okay, it's only there when ice drops out on an empty bin. The high quality of the ice makes up for it anyway, the ice is larger and clearer than the ice produced in my last machine.Recommended Product
