Businesses that have limited floor space but still need to store frozen items in bulk can make good use of the Nor-Lake KODF8788-C 8' x 8' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker outdoor walk-in freezer. 

The panels are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation sandwiched between 26 gauge steel featuring corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating providing an R-value of 32. Each panel has a male and female end that fit together with other panels. The panels are held in place by foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners and a continuous panel gasket wraps around the exterior perimeter without cuts or breaks. Edge caps on ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place that keep them in place through the life of the unit.

The door kit that comes standard with this walk-in unit features a 26” wide door that provides secure access to the interior. This door has a stepped profile to prevent airflow allowing the temperature inside to be maintained efficiently. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. The door comes pre-hung in a 4’ wide panel with a replaceable perimeter heating wire, magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a vapor proof LED lighting fixture and a switch with exterior indicator light. The door can be secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent workers from being locked inside, a safety release is included.

The temperature inside this walk-in freezer reaches a brisk temperature of -10°F thanks to the ceiling-mounted RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that provides 5692 BTU/hr of cooling. This walk-in comes with the Enviro-Control™ unit that adjusts and maintains the temperature inside as efficiently as possible. It’s also used for setting the defrost timer or start manual defrosting. To protect this walk-in unit from the precipitation white 35 mill membrane roof material is included. This membrane does not need to be glued or seamed into the roof, instead, it is held in place with metal trim that fixes it to the unit. The metal trim flashing is held in place with TEK screws that are self-tapping and self-drilling.
