The 418 cu. ft. interior of this commercial walk-in freezer provides users with refrigerated storage options.

Both the interior and exterior of panels feature 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. The 4” thick panels are filled in with foamed-in-place insulation and have an R-value of 32. Kold Locker walk-in units are easy to assemble, each panel has male and female mating rails that make alignment easy while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together for an airtight seal. The corners feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously without any breaks or cuts. Instead of using overlapping or mechanical fasteners, the ceiling and floor panels’ edge caps are foamed-in-place which will keep them secure for the life of the walk-in.

The stock door that comes with this walk-in unit is 26” wide and features a stepped profile design to provide a barrier to airflow. An upgraded 30” wide door kit with a stainless steel kickplate is available for free. The door comes with two hinges that can be installed on the right or left to best fit your needs. The two cam-lift hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling and come with a locking set screw. To keep cooling costs low, a spring-loaded door closer is included. The door is pre-hung in a 4-foot wide panel and features a magnetic stainless steel trim, digital thermometer, replaceable perimeter heating wire, and vapor proof LED light fixture actuated by a switch with external indicator light. Everything inside the walk-in is kept secure by an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, a safety release inside the door panel makes sure no-one gets locked inside.

To keep items frozen, a temperature of -10°F is maintained by the RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration that produces 5692 BTU/hr of cooling. The Enviro-Control™ electronic control system controls the Capsule Pak’s temperature and also sets the defrost timer. A single piece of 35 mill membrane is included to protect this walk-in from the elements. The white roof material does not need to be glued or seamed into place on the roof, metal flashing is included to secure it to the sides of the walk-in with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
