A walk-in freezer like the NorLake KLF77810-C 8' x 10' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker is a great solution for enterprises that need to store a lot of frozen goods reliably. A total of 473 cu. ft. of refrigerated space is offered by this walk-in unit.

The panels of this commercial walk-in freezers are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation sandwiched between 26 gauge steel featuring corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating providing an R-value of 32. Kold Locker walk-in units are easy to assemble, each panel has male and female mating rails that make alignment easy while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together for an airtight seal. The corners feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously without any breaks or cuts. Edge caps on ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place that keep them in place through the life of the unit.

The standard door that comes with this unit is 26” wide. The door features a stepped profile to provide a barrier against airflow for increased energy-efficiency. If you will be regularly moving large loads of product on hand dollies, you might want to avail of the free upgrade to a 30” door kit. This makes it easier to move wider loads while a stainless steel kick plate protects against bumps from dollies. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

A temperature of -10°F keeps items inside this walk-in frozen safely with a top-mounted RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System producing 5692 BTU/hr of cooling. To control the temperature precisely the Capsule Pak refrigeration unit comes with the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller. This electronic control is used to set the temperature, defrost timer, and can also be used to manually defrost the unit. A condensate vaporizer is included with the unit (shipped loose and requires field wiring) to eliminate the need for a drain line.
