The KLF8766-C 6' x 6' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is an extremely dependable indoor walk-in freezer that you can trust to safely store your frozen goods for many years.

4” thick panels make up the walk-in unit. Both sides of each panel have a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating on 26 gauge steel. To achieve an R-value of 32 the panels have foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. These panels have male and female rails that mate together for proper alignment while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together for an airtight seal. The panels have continuous gaskets at the corners to further ensure an airtight seal. 800 lbs per square foot can be supported by the floor panels. The floor panels are constructed in a similar fashion to the wall panels but use rustproof aluminum instead of steel. Floor and ceiling panels use foamed-in-place edge caps that will keep everything secure for the life of the walk-in.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door featuring a stepped profile that acts as a barrier against airflow. The door can be ordered hinged to the right or left depending on your installation’s needs. The two hinges the door comes on are cam-lift hinges that are field adjustable to make sure the door opens and closes smoothly. A spring-loaded door closer always makes sure the door is properly closed. The door comes pre-installed in a 4’ wide panel section as a single unit complete with a perimeter heating wire (replaceable), A vapor proof LED lighting fixture controlled by a switch that also activates an external pilot light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Everything inside is kept secure by an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle that can also be locked with a more secure padlock. A safety release inside the walk-in prevents workers from getting trapped.

Everything inside the freezer is kept at -10°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPF100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 3444 BTU/hr of cooling. This walk-in comes complete with the Enviro-Control™ unit that controls the Capsule Pak refrigeration unit. Aside from setting the temperature, it is also used to set the defrost timer and can activate a manual defrost cycle. An automatic condensate vaporizer is included for easy installation that doesn’t require a floor drain.
