Storing refrigerated goods in bulk safely and efficiently is a challenge but the NorLake KLB7756-C 5' x 6' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker is up to the task and will serve in the role for many years. 159 cu. ft. of refrigerated space is offered by this walk-in coolers with top mounted compressor .

To assure durability the internal and exterior surfaces of the panels feature an embossed stucco coating to provide corrosion resistance to the 26 gauge steel. These panels are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation between the steel panels providing an R-value of 25. Kold Locker walk-in units are easy to assemble, each panel has male and female mating rails that make alignment easy while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together for an airtight seal. The corners feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously without any breaks or cuts. The ceiling and floor panels feature foamed-in-place edge caps that will stay in place for the life of the cooler.

The door kit that comes standard with this walk-in unit features a 26” wide door that provides secure access to the interior. This door has a stepped profile to prevent airflow allowing the temperature inside to be maintained efficiently. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. The door comes pre-hung in a 4’ wide panel with a replaceable perimeter heating wire, magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a vapor proof LED lighting fixture and a switch with exterior indicator light. The door can be secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent workers from being locked inside, a safety release is included.

To efficiently maintain temperatures between 35°F and 38°F this walk-in unit has a ceiling-mounted RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration system that produces 4060 BTU/hr of cooling. The Capsule Pak unit comes with the Enviro-Control™ electronic control system to adjust the temperature and set the timing for automatic defrosting. An automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose and wired in the field removing the need for a drain line.
