The KLB614-C 6' x 14' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is the best solution for businesses that need to efficiently store and handle refrigerated goods in bulk. The interior of this walk-in coolers with top mounted compressor has 420 cu. ft. of space.

The 4” thick wall panels feature 26 gauge steel on both sides protected by stucco-embossed corrosion-resistant coatings. To achieve an R-value of 25 foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation makes up the majority of each panel. The panels feature male and female rails to make aligning them easy during assembly while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners make sure panels are secure. Panel gaskets on the outer perimeter of the panels provide a continuous seal. The floor is made from similar panels to the wall panels but features a smooth aluminum surface for rust resistance. The floor is designed to hold a uniform load of up to 800 pounds per square foot. Both floor and ceiling panels feature foamed-in-place edge caps that will keep things secure for the lifetime of the walk-in.

By default, the door that comes with this unit is 26” wide with a stepped profile that impedes airflow for a more energy-efficient door. Two cam-lift hinges allow the door to open and close smoothly, they are field adjustable to compensate for any settling over the years to make sure the door always opens and closes smoothly while maintaining a proper seal. The door can be ordered hinged on the left or right to best fit your needs. A spring-loaded door closer makes sure the door is never left ajar. The door comes pre-installed in a 4’ wide panel section complete with magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and a vapor proof LED lighting fixture controlled by a switch that also activates an exterior indicator light. To protect goods inside an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle is included that can accept a padlock for additional security. To keep workers from getting trapped inside there is a safety release.

To maintain the self-life of refrigerated goods a temperature from 35°F to 38°F is maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak producing 4060 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The refrigeration system is controlled by the Enviro-Control™ panel, this allows you to set the interior temperature and the system will monitor and maintain the temperature as efficiently as possible. This control panel also controls the defrost timer and can activate a manual defrost cycle. To eliminate the need for a floor drain, this unit comes with an automatic condensate vaporizer.
