The Groen BPM-15GC Braising Pan is a good choice as the primary large batch cooking apparatus for a medium sized establishment or as a secondary unit when space is a premium. This is the smallest gas heated, tilting braising pan offered by Groen and has all the bells and whistles of the larger models. With an 8” deep cooking pan it can hold up to 15 gallons of product.  This Gas Tilting Skillet Braising Pan is only 30.47” wide (without a side mounted faucet) allowing it to fit into space limited kitchens.

The cooking surface has 3” radius corners for easier mixing of the product and simplified cooking. It’s made from heavy-duty ⅝” thick plate clad in stainless steel. The entire cooking surface is uniformly heated with specially designed welded fins for heat transfer from the combustion chamber/gas burner. The interior of the braising pan is polished to a smooth 100 emery grit finish.

The control panel on the right side of the device IPX6-rated and includes Power on-off switch with indicator light, temperature control knob from 175 to 425°F, and a heat indicator light.

The Groen BPM-15GC Braising Pan can be operated at a 7 degree angle for griddling. This unit is controlled thermostatically to automatically shut-off when the selected temperature has been met and will automatically power on when the temperature falls below.  This braising pan has a firing rate of 65,000 BTU/hr.

For ease of mind, these units come with a high limit thermostat for the safety of your crew and establishment.

This model uses a smooth manual action hand crank to tilt the braising pan, allowing for simple and precise operation when pouring.  The pan tilts to full vertical in 24 turns and can go past the vertical to simplify cleaning.

The body is constructed from solid one-piece welded 304 stainless steel and has a #3 finish which ensures simple cleaning without wearing down. The unit is mounted on an open leg stand with height adjustable feet for uneven flooring.

A faucet mounting bracket is included for mounting for right, left or rear; wherever is most convenient for your kitchen. Faucet sold separately.

The unit uses 5.0 amps of power at 115v/60/1-ph and requires a ½” NPT gas connection.  Make sure to select either LP gas or Natural gas depending on what is used at your establishment.
