If you bake and roast daily, you need a dependable gas convection oven like this Blodgett DFG-200 BASE with 60,000 BTU to keep the kitchen moving. This unit is supplied with five (5) removable chrome-plated racks, each able to support a full-size 18 by 26" baking pan in either front to back or left to right placement. Each rack can be set on 11 rack positions with a minimal gap of 41 millimeters. The stainless steel on the top, front, sides, creates a polished but durable finish that won’t rust, dent, or scratch easily so you can get many years of use out of the oven. The full-angle iron frame increases the durability of the unit.

This commercial oven takes advantage of both direct and indirect heat, which results in well-baked items that are pristinely moist and tender on the inside and scrumptiously and beautifully crisp on the outside. You can go into cooking mode and cool down mode at a flip of a switch from the modular control panel. The 0.5 hp dual-speed fan brings the heat from all directions to fully cook the products on each rack in every position making the operation much quicker and more efficient and results much more flavorful and visually appealing.

The unit operates within the temperature range of 200 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, which the aluminized steel combustion chamber can easily handle. If you have an extensive menu, you can always count on the mega-accurate solid-state infinite thermostat with an LED display to create the best cooking condition for each one. The digital timer helps you stay on track while you wait for food to cook and when the food is ready, you can quickly get started on another batch with the cooling fan able to bring the temperatures down immediately.

This gas convection oven is insulated with solid mineral fiber so that no heat escapes the cavity. Double-sided porcelain is used for the interior lining while interior lights are installed for illumination. With the dual-pane thermal glass windows on each of the left and right-hinged doors, you won’t have to open and close the oven just to check how everything is cooking. When you do have to open and close the doors, you can do so with the single powder-coated handle, which is connected to both doors for simultaneous operation. The triple-mounted pressure lock 

The electric spark ignition consumes less amount of gas while the removable dual-tube burners regulate the height and reach of the flame to maintain uniformity. The unit is also equipped with air mixers with adjustable air shutters that provide excellent control over the quality of the flame. For easy access, the modular front control panel slides out while the pressure regulator and the manual gas cut-off valve also on the front for easy access during servicing and maintenance. The unit accepts a draft diverter and a draft hood for ventilation.

The Blodgett DFG-200 BASE single-deck half-size gas convection oven is approved by cETL and NSF and includes a two-year warranty on parts and labor and a five-year limited warranty on the oven door. A 150 voltage, 60Hz, single-phase electric connection is required. You can easily customize the unit with additional components and accessories available below.
