Blodgett BC-20E Description
Take your kitchen to the next level with the Blodgett BC-2E full-size roll-in electric combi oven. This unit can fit up to 14 full-size sheet pans that measure 18 by 26" or up to 28 full-size hotel pans measuring 12 by 20". This unit reduces product handling due to the roll-in design for faster and more sanitary operation.
This commercial oven is supplied with 10 wire shelves. A two-speed fan distributes the steam and hot air throughout the cavity for even baking and cooking results. A solid-state thermostat allows you to precisely adjust the temperature from 150 degrees all the way to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Steam is produced by the self-contained steam generator that self-flushes and is separate from the cooking compartment to facilitate quicker recovery from one steam cooking session to another. This unit takes much of the guesswork during operation including the deliming indicator, automatic steam regulation, and automatic temperature control.
Upon deliming, the unit comes with all items you need for a thorough cleaning including a pressure spray bottle where the detergent goes, a hose, and spray assembly for rinsing away grease buildup and particles, a deliming container, and an internal semi-automatic deliming pump that ensures optimal performance. The unit also comes with a factory-installed water pressure regulator and vented drain assembly.
This electric combi oven uses four cooking methods including steam, hot air, combined hot air and steam, and other great settings like cool down, steam-on-demand, and Blodgett’s very own Vario Steam to give you the flexibility you need to meet your daily demand. You can cook various foods all at once, no flavor transfer to worry about, thanks to the open vented system that eliminates flavor transfer by condensing steam and draining away by-products. A motor-powered timer allows you to set a timer for up to 120 minutes and is designed to shut down when the set time elapses.
The dual-pane tempered glass window provides a clear view of the interior. For safety, there is a magnetic door interlock switch that shuts off to fully open the door. The door gasket guards against heat loss and is removable for cleaning. This unit comes with the TC-14 transport cart, which adds additional storage space 26 shelf positions and can easily fit 28 steam table pans or 14 bake pans.
The Blodgett BC-20E full-size electric combi oven is UL and NSF approved and comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
