The Aluminum interior is lit with efficient LED lighting that will last for many years and keep the interior cool. Three epoxy-coated wire shelves provide plenty of space to organize items and maximize the usable space. The door is easily opened with an antimicrobial handle that provides an additional layer of sanitation. A self-closing feature in conjunction with a magnetic door gasket makes sure the interior is kept nice and cool without using more power. When users need to use both hands to access multiple items the door can be opened to 120º to activate the stay-open feature.

Cooling is provided by a bottom-mounted self-contained refrigeration system with a ¼ HP compressor offering 1480 BTU/hr of cooling potential. The epoxy-coated evaporator in this unit makes sure efficient cooling is provided in a reliable manner for many years with minimal service. Full electric control will keep the temperature between 36ºF and 38ºF while consuming as little power as possible. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with a non-electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.

The unit ships from the factory with 6” casters which allow the unit to be easily moved for service or cleaning. Locking casters at the front of the unit secure it in place when in use. Power is provided to the unit with the 8’ power cord that comes prewired from the factory with a NEMA 5-15P plug set for use with a standard outlet with 115v/60/1-ph power at 3.0 amps.
