In commercial kitchens, a reliable freezer like the Beverage Air HBF49HC-1-HS Horizon Series Freezer is quintessential for hassle-free day-to-day operations. This freezer's four sections offer a total of 46.2 cu. ft. of refrigeration that is easy to organize and access.

The unit comes with six epoxy-coated wire shelves to completely organize items in the sections. The interiors are constructed with durable stainless steel for ease of maintenance. Items are easy to find inside the sections thanks to the power-efficient LED lighting. The doors feature anti-microbial handles that swiftly open. A self-closing feature makes sure that doors are never left ajar allowing the cooling system to work as little possible for power savings. When accessing multiple items the doors can be opened to 120º and they will remain open allowing users to use both hands.

The self-contained refrigeration unit is located at the base of the unit protected by a one-piece grill providing easy access for preventative maintenance tasks. A ¾ HP compressor efficiently provides 2312 BTU/hr of cooling. The temperature below 0ºF is constantly maintained by the fully electronic controls. To make sure cooling is reliable with limited maintenance, an epoxy-coated evaporator coil is used. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with an electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.

The unit can be configured with 3” casters or 6” legs at no extra cost but come standard with 6” casters allowing it to be easily moved into and out of place for cleaning. An 8-foot power cable comes from the factory prewired with a NEMA 5-15P plug set for use with standard 115v/60/1-ph power.
