AccuTemp EGF2403A2450-T1 Description
The EGF2403A2450-T1 Accu-Steam™ Countertop Griddle from AccuTemp is a tabletop model with 717 sq. in. of effective cooking area and is configured to use 408v/60/3-ph electrical power. Accutemp has developed a unique way of providing heat to this griddle that is unlike any other model available on the market. Their Accu-Steam™ system utilizes a hermetically sealed vacuum chamber with pure water inside. Low watt density heating elements are immersed in the water to heat it to produce steam. The hot steam rises and evenly heats the cold-rolled 7 gauge stainless steel griddle plate. This is unlike most electric Commercial Griddles that use multiple heating elements that directly heat certain portions of the griddle plate, for even heating they rely on the thermal mass of a thicker griddle plate and often suffer from poor recovery times. AccuTemp’s steam solution has near-instantaneous recovery time due to the nature of steam transferring heat to any areas that have started to cool from cooking food.
Temperature is controlled with a digital thermostat that can provide temperatures between 200°F and 400°F. 3 temperature presets can be programmed for convenience, and if you only need a single temperature, a manager mode can be used to lockout temperature control.
A 3-⅞” wide grease trough runs the full width of the cooking surface for easy grease management. Grease is held in a 5-quart grease pan for easy removal through a front-accessible drawer.
This Countertop Griddle is very efficient and is ENERGY STAR compliant pulling up to 24.0 amps of power. A 5’ power cord is included with a 15-50P plug. More Restaurant Equipment, Cooking Equipment & Commercial Grills are available.
