Having a huge cooking area means you can cook a lot of food in the same location simultaneously, which makes electric griddles essential for any commercial kitchen. The Jade range of electric griddles has floor-standing models that can be used independently without taking up counter space in smaller kitchens. The flat surface without raised edges makes it easier to manipulate the food with a spatula. The wide thermo-griddles have a thick, highly polished plate with a thermostatically controlled 30,000 BTU/hr burner every 12" of the griddle. When you lift off the cast iron top grates, they reveal one stainless steel pilot per burner on the griddle, enabling even heat throughout its surface. With a thermostatic griddle, you have much more control over the temperature of the cooking surface.
The appliance also has high rear and side splashes with a deep gutter around the edges to prevent spillage. The griddles are made of durable stainless steel, all welded construction with stainless steel front, plate shelf, pilot tips, gas tubing throughout, and legs with adjustable feet.
