The TST-28SD-12-N Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit from Turbo Air is a compact prep table with a cold bunker that holds a dozen ⅙-size pans and a single refrigerated cabinet with 8 cu. ft. of space. This prep table is a great choice for establishments with limited space or need a unit that is highly portable.

The worktop consists of a ½” thick high-density poly-ethylene cutting board that makes up the width of the unit. This 9-½” deep cutting board is held in place securely to work on salads or sandwiches but can be removed easily for cleaning. In front of the cutting board is the cold bunker featuring an insulated pan cover. Items inside the cold bunker are kept below 41°F even with the lid open thanks to the powerful forced-air cooling system. This system creates a cold air-shield around the pan keeping everything cool and fresh.

The reach-in cabinet features a stainless steel shelf to make organizing items simple and when it comes time to locate the items LED lighting at each corner make sure everything is clearly visible. Items in the cabinet will be kept at 33°F ~ 39°F and the fan control system keeps the temperature cool throughout the cabinet. Whenever the door is open, the fan turns off to prevent it from drawing warm air in.

Refrigeration is provided by a ⅙ HP compressor using environmentally-safe R-290 refrigerant. To make sure the compressor has a long service life and refrigeration is as efficient as possible, Turbo Air’s self-cleaning condenser is included. This patented technology eliminates downtime, labor costs, and service costs by using an automated mechanism that moves a rotating brush over the condenser at a set interval. This prevents dust from building up and keeps the condenser free-flowing for ideal heat exchange.

This prep table is configured for use with standard 115v/60/1-ph electrical power at 6.6 amps. Attaching it to a power outlet is simple with the included 9-foot power cable. 4” swivel casters are included making this prep table easy to move.
