The Turbo-Air MST-72-30-N Mega Top Table is built to withstand the rigors of a commercial kitchen. Turbo-Air, which has been designing and manufacturing heavy-duty, reliable refrigeration products for more than 20 years, built this unit with sturdy stainless steel top, front, and side panels. The exterior has aluminum interior sides and back, while a stainless steel interior floor prevents rust from forming from occasional food spills.

Sturdy Doors with Ergonomic Handles

The sandwich/salad unit’s (3) refrigerator swing doors are built with robust stainless steel on the interior and durable ABS door liners. Each door is fitted with an ergonomically designed handle recessed into the door panel, giving the unit an attractive, modern appearance while letting you grip the handle without much effort. For foodservice establishments that want to keep their refrigerated items secure, you may request for optional locks for each door. The door locks require extra lead time and an additional charge.

Cold Air Shield Keeps Ingredients Cool and Crisp

The Turbo-Air MST-72-30-N Mega Top Table uses an innovative cold bunker system designed to force cold air around each of the (30) 1/6 size food pans. This creates a layer of cold air around the food pans to maintain food temperatures at 41° F and below, ensuring that your ingredients are always fresh even when the insulated pan cover is open. A 9 ½”-deep polyethylene cutting board is positioned in front of the food pans, letting you cut, chop, and slice your ingredients immediately before they go inside the cold air shield.  

To further protect your ingredients from spoilage, you may avail of optional removable pan covers. An optional overhead double shelf made of stainless steel is also available. Both the extra pan covers and double shelf come at an additional charge.

Spacious Refrigerated Interior

With the Turbo-Air MST-72-30-N Mega Top Table, you no longer need to walk to the kitchen’s main refrigerators when you run out of ingredients. The unit has its own self-contained cold storage compartment that gives you ample space for keeping extra ingredients close. The interior can maintain a temperature between 33° F to 39° F, adjustable using the unit’s digital temperature control and monitoring system. High-density polyurethane insulation keeps the cold air inside to guarantee that the refrigerator’s contents are at safe temperatures at all times.

Three adjustable wire shelves provide room for flexibility when organizing the contents of the interior. Each shelf is coated with durable polyethylene to protect it from moisture damage. An additional wire shelf is also available for an extra fee. Energy-efficient LED lighting provides clear, bright illumination so you can access the contents with ease.

Self-Cleaning Condenser for Peak Performance

When dust accumulates in the condenser, it causes undue stress on the unit and makes it work harder than it should. Not only does this negatively affect the performance of the unit, it also raises your energy consumption and maintenance costs. The Turbo-Air MST-72-30-N Mega Top Table prevents this from happening with a condenser that cleans itself regularly. A fine mesh filter protects the condenser by catching incoming dust particles. Anything that gets through the filter is cleaned using a rotating brush that automatically moves up and down the condenser two to three times per day.

The condenser and evaporator are also given a special anti-corrosion treatment. This protects the coils from rusting, which can happen when they are exposed to food acids, and causing refrigerant leakages and spills that can create food safety issues in your kitchen.

Mobile Unit Makes Transporting the Unit a Breeze

When you need to pull out the Turbo-Air MST-72-30-N Mega Top Table for servicing, you don’t need to lift the 396-lbs. unit with your bare hands. The unit stands on caster wheels that measure 4” in diameter, allowing you to easily roll it in or out of place. However, you don’t have to worry about the unit moving while in use because the front casters have locks that fasten it into place. For extra stability, you may avail of optional legs that are made of stainless steel or ABS plastic for an extra fee.  

Earth-Friendly Refrigerant Does Not Cause Harm to the Ozone Layer

To comply with the strict rules of the EPA and DOE on refrigerant use, this unit is cooled using R290 refrigerant. R290 is a hydrocarbon refrigerant that registers an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of 0. This means, unlike traditional refrigerants, R290 does not emit chemicals that degrade the ozone layer. It also has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3, which means it contributes minimally to global warming.
