The Scotsman UN324A-1 Ice Maker with Bin is designed to produce up to 340 lbs of H2 Nugget Ice in a 24 hour period. Although the unit is compact it can still hold 80 lbs of ice. Establishments that serve fountain beverages and blended drinks often use nugget ice because it is chewable and fast cooling. Many people enjoy dining at places that serve nugget ice, especially when the weather is hot. The ice produced by this unit measures ¾” x 5/16” x ⅜”.

The dimensions of this unit are 28-½” front-to-back, 24” wide, and 39” tall. This allows it to fit into many spaces other larger commercial ice makers can’t fit into. To make the unit even shorter, the 6” legs are removable and the optional KUFM24 floor kit can be installed. This will reduce its height to 33-½”. All airflow in this unit happens at the front, which makes it excel in tight spaces. Being able to access the external air filter makes it easier to service making sure the unit is always running at its best.

The control panel is simple to use and operators will find it intuitive. The unit features a slide back door, it gives easy access to the ice while keeping the door completely out of the way. A power cord and ice scoop are included with this unit. For reliability, this unit uses a greaseless bearing and stainless steel evaporator.

With this unit producing 100 lbs of ice requires 5.47 kWh of power and 12 gallons of water. This unit uses 115v/60/1-ph power.
