The ice bin in this unit is capable of holding up to 25 lbs of nugget ice.

Keeping the Scotsman HID525W-1 Meridian™ ice dispenser clean is very simple and can be accomplished without the use of tools. To keep microbial growth at bay Scotsman implemented AquaArmor with AgION™ into the design of key components. 

Every major component is easily accessible from the front of the unit after the front panels have been removed. This allows the service crew to do their work on the unit without having it to remove it from where it was installed. An easy to understand LED readout inside the unit relays important information to the service crew which allows them to quickly diagnose issues without having to do too much troubleshooting. Scotsman provides a unique scannable QR code inside each unit. The QR code is unique for every unit and scanning it displays warranty history, manuals, and parts lists.

When this commercial ice dispenser produces 100 lbs of ice it uses 5.5 kWh of power. The unit measures in at 21-¼” wide, 24-⅜” deep, and 35” tall.
