The Scotsman B530P Ice Bin is designed specifically for use with a top-mounting Scotsman Prodigy Plus® Ice maker. This model holds 536 lbs of ice in its 30” width, 50” height, and 34” depth. The rotocast plastic exterior features contemporary styling which is a perfect match for Scotsman’s top-mounting Prodigy Plus® product line providing plenty of storage and style. This ice bin comes with 6” legs that provide access around and beneath the unit for cleaning and inspection.

A spring-loaded door grants access to the interior of the ice bin. The door features hidden hinges that hold the door in the open position to make retrieving ice simpler. A handy dandy ice scoop is included with this ice bin and is kept in place with the built-in scoop holder. For easy cleaning, the baffle is removable without the use of any tools.

To keep the ice solid for as long as possible this ice bin utilizes polyurethane foam insulation which is formed under heat and pressure and forced inside the walls to prevent gaps from forming. The wall to wall bonding this method provides consistent insulation.

Sanitary polyethylene is used for the interior portion of this ice bin. This material is difficult to damage by ice scoops even with frequent use. A recessed drain fitting is used to drain wastewater from the ice bin. This allows for flexibility when installing the unit.
