The Scotsman B530S Ice Bin is an excellent ice storage solution designed to fit with Scotsman’s top-mounting Prodigy Plus® product line of commercial ice makers. This unit can hold up to 536 lbs of ice in its 30” wide, 34” deep, and 50” tall dimensions. The exterior of this ice bin features a contemporarily styled metallic finish which pairs up perfectly with any of the ice makers in the Scotsman Prodigy Plus® line. This ice bin comes with 6” legs that make checking cleaning under and around the bin simple.

The door is spring-loaded and is held in place with hidden hinges. This door conveniently keeps the door open when you’re grabbing ice. But don’t literally grab the ice, that’s unsanitary, that’s why Scotsman provides a handy ice scoop with this unit. To make sure the ice scoop can be easily an ice scoop holder is built into the bin. Cleaning the baffle is simple since it’s removable.

To make sure ice melts as slowly as possible this ice bin uses polyurethane foam insulation. This material is forced between the liner and wall under pressure and heat which makes the insulation bond from wall to wall flawlessly without any air gaps providing completely consistent insulation. To make sure the inside of this ice bin is not damaged repeated use of ice scoops the interior is made from sanitary polyethylene. Melted ice water exits the bin through a recessed drain fitting which provides flexibility when installing the unit.
