If large reach-in refrigerators are limiting your need to store refrigerated items in bulk, a walk-in unit like the KLB87614-C 6' x 14' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is the best upgrade for your operations. 

To assure durability the internal and exterior surfaces of the panels feature an embossed stucco coating to provide corrosion resistance to the 26 gauge steel. These panels are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation between the steel panels providing an R-value of 25. For ease-of-installation, each panel has male and female rails that come together to ensure proper alignment. To maintain an air-tight seal between each panel foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners are used. A continuous panel gasket wraps around outer perimeter free from breaks or cuts at the corners. Edge caps on ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place that keep them in place through the life of the unit.

To prevent airflow, the door has a stepped profile to keep the heat out efficiently. At 26 inches wide, the standard door provides easy access to the interior. Two cam-lift hinges allow the door to open and close smoothly, they are field adjustable to compensate for any settling over the years to make sure the door always opens and closes smoothly while maintaining a proper seal. The door can be ordered hinged on the left or right to best fit your needs. A spring-loaded door closer makes sure the door is never left ajar. The door comes pre-hung in a 4’ wide panel with a replaceable perimeter heating wire, magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a vapor proof LED lighting fixture and a switch with exterior indicator light. The door can be secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent workers from being locked inside, a safety release is included.

To maintain the self-life of refrigerated goods a temperature from 35°F to 38°F is maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak producing 6250 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system sets the temperature inside the walk-in and also sets the automatic defrost timer. To remove the need for a drain line, an automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose with the unit and needs to be field wired.
