If your business needs a large amount of refrigeration capacity an indoor walk-in unit like the KLB84612-C 6' x 12' x 8'-4" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake might be your best bet. This floorless model has an 8’4” height providing extended vertical storage capabilities.

Each panel is 4” thick and comes with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish on 26 gauge steel for durability. The interior is filled with EPA-compliant polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation. To make assembly simple, each panel has female and male rails that overlap each other for a mechanically air-tight design. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners make sure that panels lock together tightly for a truly air-tight seal. The corners are protected by a continuous panel gasket that goes around the outer perimeter without any cuts or breaks. Instead of using overlapping or mechanical fasteners, the ceiling panels’ edge caps are foamed-in-place which will keep them secure for the life of the walk-in.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door with a stepped profile that servers as a barrier to airflow. A 30” wide door kit with a stainless steel kick plate is available as a free upgrade.Two cam-lift hinges are included with the door and can be installed on the right or left. These hinges are field-adjustable to make sure the door swings freely while providing an airtight seal. A spring-assisted door closer is included to keep the door from being left ajar. The 4-foot wide door panel comes with the door pre-hung and includes a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch connected to an external indicator light, replaceable heating wire, stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. To keep items inside secure, an NL 9800 deadbolt handle is included with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent lock-ins there is a safety release inside.

To efficiently maintain temperatures between 35°F and 38°F this walk-in unit has a ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration system that produces 6250 BTU/hr of cooling. The temperature inside the walk-in is adjusted with the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system, it is also used to set the automatic defrost timer. Drain lines are not required thanks to the automatic condensate vaporizer included with the unit. The automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose and needs to be wired in the field. The Capsule Pak uses 208/230 voltage and requires a 15 amp fuse.
