Thanks to the rotating cast-iron grid, Belgian waffles are made consistently to produce crispy golden brown waffles. This grid is removable and can be done without the need for tools. To keep waffles from getting stuck to the grid and to reduce the amount of cleaning needed, the grid on this waffle maker features a silverstone non-stick coating.

To apply consistent heat to the top of waffles while still allowing them to rise naturally, this waffle maker comes with a floating hinge.
