The worktop of this underbar drainboard is a removable perforated stainless steel panel. The perforations help airflow to the insides of glassware drying on its surface which can speed up drying time. A 7” tall backsplash is integrated into the worktop and protects the wall behind the unit from any liquid damage. Beneath the removable worktop is a drain pan which removes water from the unit via a 1-½” I.P.S. threaded drain.
Under the worktop and drain pan assembly is the easily accessible storage cabinet. A locking door allows for secure storage and an integral handle lets the door stay completely flush without protrusions. The interior of the storage cabinet is smoothly finished with radiused corners for easy cleaning. The floor is still removable for deep cleaning after installation since the plumbing doesn’t interfere.
20 gauge stainless steel is used in this cabinet’s construction including the perforated drainboard, backsplash, drain pan, sides, back, floor, and door. 16” 1-⅝” in diameter stainless steel legs made from 16 gauge stainless steel are affixed to the unit with 18 gauge stainless steel leg pads. Stainless steel bullet feet allow for precise height adjustment for each leg to keep the unit level on uneven flooring. The unit measures 19” front-to-back, 18” wide, 37” tall (including the backsplash).
